Another Female Artist hits the music industry with powerful song

Female Ghanaian musicians are giving their male counterparts a run for the money in recent times. The male dominated music industry is witnessing a rapid growth of female acts.
Ghana and the world has enjoyed several female superstars like Abrewa Nana, Mzbel,  MzVee, Kaakie, Ebony who have all been very competitive with the males and given Ghana Music Award organizers (Charter House) a difficult task in identifying who wins the ultimate prize.
Ghana is about to witness another new and fast rising female act by name Nyarko Naa Okailey Barbara known in showbiz as Okailey Verse (OV ). A multitalented young artiste born on 4th December 1998; attended Ghana Senior High School, Koforidua in the Eastern Region of the Republic.
She started of as a dancer although was singing and wanted to play the guitar from childhood. She became known by school mates and the public as "Skelebarbs" because of her ability to dance. OV won several certificates for been the best dancer in her Senior High School.

The singer who now plays guitar upon completing senior high school education got serious with her musical career. She then did few song covers by popular artistes like Kuami Eugene's Angela, Seyi Shay's touch me.
OV recorded her first single with Reynolds the Gentleman, a multi-Instrumentalist and producer after he discovered her on Instagram, the song was titled "Nea Woyeyi" which featured Reynolds himself.
Okailey Verse has performed at places like "Piano Bar ", "Serallio", "Badu lounge" High School events that had mainstream musicians such as Gemini, Ayigbe Edem.
Her second single titled "Kambu" produced by Standec released on 4th December 2017 got her known in various Tertiary Institutions. She then released her third song which featured popular dancehall Reggae act, the very good bad boy Epixode titled "ma mind dey ".
This song is making serious waves and impact in and beyond Accra and has catch attention of experienced DJ's and media practitioners. OV's "Ma mind day" is enjoying airplay by Ace broadcaster Gilbert Abeiko Aggrey a.k.a Abeiko Santana.

Her funs, DJ's and some music lovers are quick to equal her style of singing to the late Priscilla Opoku Kwarteng a.k.a Ebony.
Okailey Verse has been billed to perform at Republican’s Week Celebration of KNUST (Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology) in Kumasi this Saturday. She will mount stage with famous artistes like Becca, Shatta Walle, Stonebwoy among others.

Media foundation for West Africa punches holes in Anas' Number 12 Video
